This design came to me as I was drifting off to sleep – I had to get out of bed and sketch it so I wouldn’t forget all the details! The shape is based on a girly bathing suit with a flouncy skirt. The angled stripes give the impression of bust and waist shaping. You can extend the length to make an Erquy dress and that is exactly what I am planning to do for myself! Details Below

1 (1, 2, 2, 2) Skeins of #3009 Cherry. Or yarn that knits to specified gauge.
Needles:
1 pair of US 3/3.25mm knitting needles
1 US 3/3.25mm circular needle
1 US 4/3.5mm circular needle
1 US 6/4mm circular needle
Gauge: 27 1/2 stitches x 36 rounds = 4”/10cm worked in Angle Pattern in the rnd using US 4/3.5mm knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge;
21 1/2 stitches x 31 rounds = 4”/10cm worked in bottom lace pattern in the rnd using US 6/4mm knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
