This project is knit doubled, which is what creates the gradiated color blends. It combines a mostly solid bottom (2,3 or 4 skeins) a middle of a mid tone tonal (1 sk) or speckle color, and then the top lighter color (1 sk). Total 4-6 skeins + free pattern included in kit.
