Fiber Co's calls Canopy Fruits of the Forest, with a heady mix of bright, rich duotones in a alpaca/bamboo/merino blend giving a soothing drape with a cozy warmth too. Canopy's 3-ply Fingering weight provides good stitch definition that works well for colorwork and textured knits.
While developing this Alpaca-Merino-Bamboo blend, founder Daphne was reminded of the canopies in the African tropical rainforests where bamboo thrives and that bamboo provides a sustainable fabric. The color palette was developed based on the fauna and flora of these tropical ecosystems. It also knits beautifully held double with several other yarns from The Fibre Co, like Canopy Fingering.

Canopy Fingering is a fingering weight 3-ply strong, soft, shiny and drapey yarn perfect for color work, lace or textured stitch patterns. The unique blend of fibers are spun into a smooth yarn and then kettle dyed, and the different way the fibers absorb the dye creates a beautiful depth of color with subtle heathered tones
