This incredible blend of the softest baby alpaca you've ever touched... superfine baby alpaca in natural, undyed colors are spun together to create a tweedy alpaca that is super, super soft and extra gentle.

Considered the "cashmere" of alpacas, Superfine Alpaca is incredibly soft, wearable and extra warm, made from high mountain alpacas. These Alpaca Tweed colors are made with three strands of undyed, natural alpaca twisted together to create a yarn that is lofty, plush, and deliciously textured.

Naturally hypoallergenic, free of lanolin or dander, and water and fire resistant, these fibers are a pleasure to wear against the skin.

You'll need about 3 skeins (these giant skeins are 560-600 Yards Each!) for a luscious, delicious luxury sweater, same for a lovely throw (this yarn is great for afghans and blankets). Positively luscious for soakers, too!
