Madelinetosh Vintage!

As Fabulous Yarn is stocking up on lots of lovely Madelinetosh Vintage, I thought it the perfect opportunity to remind you about my sweet little Verbier Hat, knitted with this gorgeous yarn.

Design Details:

Two hat styles in one pattern look great in this easy to
remember, textured stitch using variegated yarns. Soft to
to the touch and cozy to wear. Choose between a slouchy
hat or close-fit beanie, and add a pompom if you please –
you’ll want one in every colour!

Finished Band Circumference: 20 ½”/52cm
Finished Height: 9 ½”/24cm

Yarn
For Slouchy Hat:
Madelinetosh Vintage
 (100% Superwash Merino Wool),
3.5oz/100g, 200yd/182m
1 Skein of Magic.
For Beanie Hat with Pompom:
Malabrigo Rastita
 (100% Merino),
3.5oz/100g, 310yd/285m
1 Skein of #809 Solis.
Or yarn that knits to specified gauge.

Tools
1 US 5/3.75mm 32”/81cm or longer circular needle
1 US 7/4.5mm 32”81cm or longer circular needle
1 US 10/6mm 32”/81cm or longer circular needle
OR Same size Double Pointed Needles.
1 Stitch Marker
Tapestry/Darning Needle

Gauge
18 stitches x 28 rows = 4”/10cm worked in Rik-Rak Stitch
in the round and US 10/6mm knitting needles
Or size needed to obtain gauge.
